Supporting research

If you are a researcher and would like to find out how IIH UK could support your research and to feature on our website please email amandadenton@iih.org.uk

There are many ways to get involved in research. You may be approached by a researcher directly, volunteer to take part and you may participate through Patient and Public Involvement (PPI). PPI is when researchers and patients work together to develop, create and design a trial. IIH UK may offer opportunities to take part in PPI by circulating surveys on our website and on Facebook, that link to research projects or the development of them. Details of upcoming trials can be found on our website or in our members newsletter.

If you would like to take part in a study, you can reach out to your doctor, nurse or researcher who will be able to advise you on any studies you are eligible for in your local area.

As a patient run charity, we are dependent on our supporter’s donations, fundraising and membership fees which enable us to continue to do the work that we do.
